Emeraldfrost padded out of the warriors den. Her brown tabby fur glistened in the April sunlight. She glanced around and saw a group of warriors return from a hunting patrol. Emeraldfrost walked over and said "How's prey running?"

The new warrior, Emeraldfrost padded over to Starrlingfur. A warm April breeze flattened her brown tabby pelt. "Hello Starrlingfur!" she said.

((Um i'm sort of new at this so I don't know how))

Emeraldfrost twitched her tail in amusement. "We're never to old to chase our tails!"

Oh, Okay!! :)

"Yeah me too sometimes." Emeraldfrost sat next to Starrlingfur.

"Sure Stripedlily!" The brown tabby turned to the clan leader. "Can Starrlingfur come too?"

Sparklestream, a pretty white she-cat, noticed nightkit and padded across the clearing toward him/her."Hello Nightkit, what are you doing out?"

"Yeah, it was! I'm so glad we don't have to clean the elders den anymore!" Emeraldfrost started grooming her fur.

Emeraldfrost walked out of the warriors den and stretched. The sunlight dappled her brown tabby coat. The scar on her right eye shone a rusty brown in the sun. She looked at the nursery. A queen was watching her kits play. I would love to have kits of my own, she thought.

"Sometimes I wish I had kits of my own, but I'm just too busy." Emeraldfrost flicked her tail toward the nursery where a queen was watching her kits play.

Emeraldfrost burst into the nursery."Silverwhisper! Are they coming?" the she-cat asked desperately. "Shall I go get the medicine cat?"

"Yeah I know but would the clan be able to do without me?" Concern for her clan clouded Emeraldfrost's light blue eyes.

Tangleflight burst on the scene. "You, your the one who killed my kits!" Anger flashed through her amber eyes as she stared down at the loner.

"Oh okay," she gestured to the fresh-kill pile "Help yourself"

"You know what. From now on I'm going to be looking for a mate!" She turned to starrlingfur. "Thank you Starrlingfur." Her blue eyes sparkled.

"Your welcome little one." She said. Her voice soft as dandelion fuzz.

Emeraldfrost padded through the gorse tunnel and emerged on the other side. She turned to Stripedlily and Tintedclaw."So, where should we hunt?"

"I'd be glad to." Tangleflight circled the loner and leaned down by his/her head. She unsheathed her claws and asked them through gritted teeth."Why have you done this?" She set one of her paws gntly on their neck, claws still unsheathed." I could very well kill you right now but we need you to stick around so we can get answers." The loner tensed.
